UPDATE: A note from Kristen about the project:
You can read the whole thing here:

The second story is a piece on the paltry enforcement by the Education Department of the federal law known as Title IX; on Friday, a piece about repeat offenders on college campuses will roll out as well.
Also, in case you missed the NPR Morning Edition episode yesterday, here’s the link to the segment:

NPR’s website lays out three more segments that the network is planning as part of its collaboration with Center for Public Integrity on this latest series, as well as when those segments will run. There’s one on All Things Considered today, and tomorrow featuring the lead case in my story.
ORIGINAL POST:
2003 Fellow Kristen Lombardi continues her groundbreaking investigation into the culture of indifference around sexual assaults on American college campuses with a second installment of stories.
The Center for Public Integrity will hold a press call today at 1:00 p.m. EST to discuss their findings.
In addition to Lombardi, Center Director Bill Buzenberg, Laura Frank, director of the Rocky Mountain News Network, and the mother of one of the students featured in the Campus Assault series will be on the call.
