Santos is an award-winning journalist, author and documentary filmmaker. Her book, Daring to Feel: Violence, the News Media, and Their Emotions, was released by Rowman & Littlefield in January. She teaches media ethics, journalism, and documentary film at Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts.
