Tara McKelvey wins Guggenheim grant
Tara McKelvey, a 2007 Ochberg Fellow, has been named a 2011 John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation fellow in the area of general nonfiction.
McKelvey is an editor at the American Prospect and the author of “Monstering: Inside America’s Policy of Secret Interrogations and Torture in the Terror War.” She lives in Washington, D.C.
She recently published this essay in the Columbia Journalism Review: “Covering Obama’s Secret War.”
