Dave Cullen: Teachable Moment in Trauma Coverage
2002 Dart Center Ochberg Fellow Dave Cullen uses an interview with a mudslide victim on The Today Show as a teachable moment of what NOT to do when interviewing traumatized people. Cullen, on his blog, created a video including the coverage and responding, in a calm, teachable way for young journalists or journalism students. Cullen this fall created an excellent site to offer advice and support on interviewing, writing and publishing.
